It's not too clear. The CM is for Constipated Monkey, which was the title of a KMD song and a Kurious album. There is also the CM Famalam Show on 89 tec 9 with Lord Sear and Bobbito. A tentative list of "members" of the CM crew would be Kurious, KMD, Lord Sear, Earthquake, Bobbito, and MF Grimm. In any case, this page will be dedicated to the members of the extended KMD family who have yet to put out a substantial body of work. With no further ado...

Lord Sear aka Stak Chedda
In addition to being the co-host of the CM Famalam Show, Lord Sear is an MC, DJ, producer, blues singer, and who knows what else. He was Kurious' original DJ, and will probably return for the new Kurious LP. He appeared on "Stop smokin that shit" (the CM anthem?) and blows everyone else away with his quiet, out-of-breath style. He sounds like the embodiment of Havin Fun (tm). He released a single on Fondle Em in 1997: "Alcoholic Vibes"/"Hindu Love"/"Tony Randall Stop Masturbating." The first two tracks have booming beats and nice vocal samples which nearly drown out the freestyled vocals. You have to struggle to catch the lyrics, but it doesn't matter: the beats alone are more than enough to keep your attention. This is closer to Brian Eno's definition of ambient (good whether or not you pay attention) than anything Brian Eno has done. The final track is a joking diss on Bobbito in the form of a blues holler. "Your toupee is wet; it's full of peeeeee..."

Earthquake
The 300 lb MC. Well, actually 280, according to "Stop smokin that shit." Gruff but energetic flow. "Stop smokin that shit" seems to be his only appearance, which is a shame. Earthquake, where are you? Come back!
